Recover your account
Reset your password with your email or Second Life avatar, or sign in with an IM code.

Open Recover account. You can start with the email on your account, or with your Second Life avatar name.
- Email or avatar name — if that account has a linked avatar, we IM a reset link that works for 30 minutes.
- Sign in with Second Life — enter the IM code, then set a password under Settings → Account so you can use email next time.
- Reset links only go out by IM today. Linking your avatar is the most reliable way to recover access.
After you recover, add an email and a password in Settings so you have two ways in.
