Freeform canvas: place anything anywhere

A Freeform canvas is a section where blocks aren't stacked. You drag each text, image or shape to any spot and resize it by its corners, like a design app.

1. 1Insert a Freeform canvas from the Layout group.
2. 2Drag blocks from Insert onto the canvas, or paste one you've copied.
3. 3Drag to move, pull the corners to resize, and use the arrow keys to nudge. Hold Shift for bigger steps.
4. 4Check Phone view. By default the canvas stacks its blocks neatly on phones; switch the phone layout to free if you want to arrange that size by hand too.
