With Premium, your site can live at your own address, like mystore.com or shop.mystore.com. You'll need a domain you've bought from a registrar such as Namecheap, GoDaddy, Porkbun or Cloudflare.
1. Add the domain in veedo
Go to Settings › Domain, type your domain and save. veedo shows you the exact DNS record to add.
2. Add the record at your registrar
| You're connecting | Type | Name / Host | Value |
|---|---|---|---|
A root domain, like mystore.com | A | @ | 76.76.21.21 |
A subdomain, like shop.mystore.com | CNAME | shop | cname.vercel-dns.com |
- Delete any other A or AAAA records on the same name, like a registrar's parking page. They make some visitors land in the wrong place.
- On Cloudflare, set the record to DNS only (grey cloud). Proxied records hide where your domain points.
- Leave other records alone, especially MX records for email.
3. Let veedo scan it
Back in Settings, the DNS check asks three public DNS resolvers around the world what your domain points to and shows what each one sees. It rescans every 30 seconds while the page is open, or press scan now.
- A green tick means that resolver sees the right record.
- Verify unlocks once most resolvers agree and nothing is in the way.
- If there's a problem, the check says what it is: no record yet, pointing somewhere else, a leftover record, an AAAA record or a proxied record.
4. Verify
Press Verify. veedo confirms the DNS, sets up your domain and issues a free HTTPS certificate. Your site is usually live on the new address within a few minutes.
DNS changes can take anywhere from a few minutes to 48 hours to reach everyone. Some resolvers will see the change before others; that's normal. Leave Settings open and it will turn green on its own.
